I’ve always been wealthy, not with ‘things’, but with love. I am the youngest of three children born to the baptist preacher and his wife. Mommy and Daddy raised me with unconditional and abundant love. My big brother was very protective and always proud of me and I knew it. My big sister was like my little mom. She was caring and nurturing to me then and still is today. I met my husband in church, fell in love and got married very young.

I was very insecure and shy. If you know me today, you are laughing at my being shy. I was – really! In fact, after joining Tupperware and having several years of success, my distributor asked Jim to speak at a Couples’ Rally. Here is a poem he wrote and read to the room that night.

Ten years ago Pam had a plan: she was going to sell Tupperware, shoot for the tops in the land.

I just shook my head in quiet despair; hey, I knew this girl – she didn’t have a prayer.

It wasn’t long until she proved me wrong, and I began talking Tupperware and singing her song.

But what really sold me on this rising star was when she pulled in the drive with that first company car.

Now trips, gifts, and eight cars later, I gotta believe she can even be greater.

It’s changed her, too, from shy wallflower to a successful business woman full of confidence and power.

Now when people talk of her success, I just smile and say, “Yep, I knew all along she’d be the best.
